PROMOTION CRITERIA:
CLASS I to IV
The promotion of any candidate will be decided by the principal on the results of all 3 terms after due consideration and consultation with all the teachers concerned.
CLASS VI to VIII
The subjects taught will be as below:
GROUP A: Nepali, English, Mathematics
GROUP B: Social Studies (History/Geography) Science (physics/Chemistry,Biology) Sanskirt/Naitik Vocational (Home Science/ Accounts) french Language/ Computer
A student will not be promoted if he/she fails:
- In 2 Group A subjects
- In 1 Group A and 2 Group B subjects
- In 3 or more Group B subjects
For Classes 5 to 8, in which there will be a Board Examination at the end of the year, the above criteria apply to all 3 terms and the Board Examination marks added together.
For Classes 6 to 7, the above criteria apply to all three terms added together in the following manner.
- First Term will consist of 25%
- Second Term will consist of 25%
- Third Term will consist of 50%
CLASS IX
All the seven S.L.C Examination subjects will be considered equal. Failure in any one subject will lead to Promotion being refused. The marks of the three terms will be added in the following manner.
- First Term will consist of 10%
- Second Term will consist of 10%
- Third Term will consist of 80%
